I tried Etsy for a while, but since their changes it's become a different place. It's now flooded with cheap, mass-produced products from Asia. As a consequence, indie artists are being lost in the noise. The other reason to move away is that the other shops handle shipping, which is a huge time sink. Sure, they take more royalties, but they don't charge me for listing. I think the payoff is worth it.
I've had a Society6 account for quite some time, but never got around to using it. Well that changed last night. I've started to upload some of my art and hope to flesh out the store in the next couple of weeks. After that, I'll update my Zazzle store and at some point when inspiration hits, I'll add some illustrations to my neglected RedBubble store.
